Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly has insisted that he is pleased with the ratings performance of Fringe.
The sci-fi drama was previously moved to Friday nights amid concerns that it may not be renewed for a fourth season.
However, Reilly told Entertainment Weekly: “I’m so psyched about [the ratings]. It does go to show you the loyalty of the genre audience, when you get the right show. I’m so grateful to that audience [and] I’d like to shake their hands. We have a lot of passion for that show here.”
He went on to admit that the future for both Human Target and Lie To Me is less certain.
“We have some decisions to make,” he said. “These shows are not being rejected. They’re doing a consistent and solid number.”
He added: “There are networks that would be happy to take those shows. We have to look at our shelf space.”
Last month, Reilly claimed that neither Fringe nor Lie To Me was in immediate danger of cancellation.
